I ate at Habanero Sombrero for lunch on April 24, 2021 at The Forks Market and thoroughly enjoyed their delicious and authentic Mexican food! I ordered three of the veggie tacos on corn tortillas (which can be made vegan if you ask) - two mushroom and one black bean. Everything on the menu is gluten free which is amazing and they have vegan options for most items, including a vegan cheese substitute for the quesadillas. They also sell chips and guacamole/salsa and nachos. The tacos I tried were incredibly tasty, flavourful and fresh. Would definitely recommend checking them out!

Taco Monday anyone? My boyfriend and I tried tacos from Habanero Sombrero today! We got two mushroom and two black bean, both were tasty. They were juicy but not soggy and we loved their soft shells, they had just the right amount of crunch but still folded around the filling. I enjoyed the mushroom one a bit more, I really liked the texture of the mushrooms, gave it a ‘meaty’ feel. But my boyfriend liked the black bean ones better. So I guess you’ll have to go try them out for yourselves and let us know what you think!
Really amazing tacos! Ordered the beef, chicken and pork and they all had really great flavors. Some places serve dry beef or flavorless chicken but not this place. Great job guys!

Amazing tacos that remind me of Mexico and what a REAL taco should taste like!! The tortillas are fresh, the beef is tasty and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend!!
FAVOURITE TACO PLACE EVER!! Taco’s are delicious, Guac is simply the best and the staff was super fast and friendly. 10/10 highly recommend.
