I love this place! The Canoe Club is a 9 hole course which is perfect for the beginner golfer. This is a stress free course and it is hard to lose your golf ball. For a great price, this the best place for a quick round with some friends.

A little more love and care would go a long way. Course was designed by a sadist.

Decent Golf Course for a Reasonable Price. The course was not to long, good course for beginners to moderate golfers. The greens could have been better kept, but overall good golf course.

Poorly managed clubhouse.. willingly turned away clients... What is the point of booking a tee time if it can not be kept? Far too expensive for the overall condition of the course... Fairway was unkempt and indifferentiable from the rough. Greens were full of weeds, unwatered for weeks possibly. This is not a club.. just a scam.. Don't bother..

Just golfed here on aug 22 2020 Reading the reviews left me uncertain on whether or not this would be a good course or not. After golfing 9 holes I have pros and cons. Pros: cheap as it gets ( I payed 24 for a round of 9 pull cart and 2 beverages ), nice views ( on this course your first 2 holes are along side the river which was beautiful then you play alongside the road which was fine on that side of the road there were very nice ponds), staff was exceptionally kindly greeting and friendly I remember leaving the building and saying to myself “what a nice guy”) Cons: golf course greens have seen a better day ( greens were horribly maintained with mud patches yellow patches leaving you with a lot of challenge to sink your put ), This course is on 2 sides of a bridge ( good news is you can walk under the bridge but it’s not the most ideal for walking ) Overall: I would go to this course over most of the 9 holes in winnipeg but leaving the greens rotting made it hard to sink in puts and enjoy my short game I think with a little love this course could easily be one of the better courses in the city.
