Too bad I had to give one star. In London I recently received a triple bypass operation. I chose Dr. Lubanski to be my cardiologist at the Windsor Heart Clinic. Never met the man but was told on the phone, our one and only conversation, that I was to contact him if I had any concerns. I made ONE ONLY phone call to find out if it is safe to have my steroid epidural in two weeks. I was told by one of his staff “it doesn’t work for me to call them.” I was told to have the Doctor in London send them a note. Dr. Lubanski should not be telling patients to contact him and have his staff telling patients that it doesn’t work to call. The doctor in London doing the injection did not mind me calling and immediately stated it would not be safe until March to have the procedure done. Lubanski gave no direction and the London doctor who is not a cardiologist settled my concern. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND the Windsor Heart Clinic. I also would like to add that I was told be Dr. Lubanski that he was referring me to a blood specialist. I waited one month and heard nothing. I called the specialist and no surprise they never heard of me. Once again I regret having to give the Windsor Cardiac Centre the one star to be able to write this review.

Out of all the cardiologists I've seen, I'd place Dr. Wadea Tarhuni in the same league as the best the world has to offer. I'm comparing him to places that employ the most brilliant minds in the world, such as the NIH, and various other organizations. Not only does Dr. Tarhuni not fall short of such a high standard, but he excels not only in his knowledge of cardiology, but also in his passion to further the field he is working in. I am absolutely shocked that he works in Windsor, out of all places, and at the same time humbled that he chooses to do so. His passion is absolutely inspiring. Not only is he very kind, he's also willing to explain what's going on- something I unfortunately rarely see in the medical field. To add a cherry on top, his staff is well selected and perfectly complements the entire facility.

The actual cardiologist was excellent and informed me clearly with regard to my condition. The two stars are for him. The rest of the experience was, well, surreal. The whole procedure on Monday took three hours, even though I only had part of the test done. You see, this was my second time in three weeks and the first part, the echogram, had already been done. This was a three week process which took five hours in total. Stay tuned for more information....I am starting this at one in the morning. There is so much more to say.
