This place changed my life for the better. So grateful for this service.

Went to this place back in May to go for an intake. The individual who I spoke with told me that the only way that I could get help was to try to kill myself and bring myself to the emergency room. He tried to offer me other services that I already tried. I tried to explain this to him and he told me that it was all my fault that I was creating roadblocks in my care. That basically everything that did in fact happen to me was all of my fault. I made a formal complaint to the Social Workers and Social Services Workers of Ontario, and their response? Let's congratulate him on their Facebook page for his many accomplishments and achievements. Clearly, they did this because of the complaint that I made, since it was posted clearly after, and this is still being investigated. Great business that you would stoop so low and do this in spite of me. You didn't think that I would see this, but I did. I am obviously upset because that's not right, especially when management did nothing to resolve the issue, and they sided with him. They said that what he said and the way he treated me was justified! The best is when I asked Joanne Desjardins for help about this situation and she told me there was nothing she could do for me. Isn’t she supposed to be a patient advocate? Of course she’s not. She doesn’t help anyone and somehow she makes 105,000 a year which was just shown on the sunshine list. It’s unbelievable that she could also get away with this too. It makes me sick. Update: The college is keeping this incident on file and it was actually sent to a disciplinary hearing. He still continues to work at this establishment...

Doctor their took me off all my piils; clonazepam 1.5 daily concerta 28 mg daily serequil 200mg daily Took me off all of these right away without weening for no reason when i just finally became stable right before i planned to move - because I was labeled \drug seeker\... Wouldn't lower my ssri's or dopamine reuptake inhibitors. This was RIGHT BEFORE I WAS PLANNING TO MOVE TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION (APARTMENT) it ruined everything.
