One of my favourite stores to shop at. Staff is always friendly and willing to help me find the products I am looking for. Love browsing their gift and home section. I always find interesting gifts. They also carry a line of honey and they were one of the few places I could find Keg bbq sauce.

Always run into helpful, knowledgeable but unpushy salespersons. Prefer HH to Canadian Tire bcos of convenient location and smart staff. Prefer to Home Depot because you don't need to walk 4 km to find staff. I estimate 15% more expensive than each of these, but worth it.

Just had a hiccup with a vanity countertop I purchased there. It happens, their customer service was on point with getting it replaced so I could continue with my installation. I really appreciate the help and effort!

Extremely disappointed with the lack of service. I needed to order a door to match the other doors that had been purchased at this location (in fact almost everything to build the house was purchased here). I let the employee know the size of door I needed, and he expected that I would just accept anything they have in stock, never even asked me any other questions than the size. Not sure if he was aware that HH sells more than one type of door. I than explained that I wanted the door to match, he said he would need to call the company to order it, I said that's fine. He than said it would need to wait until Monday, which I was ok with. I than had to prompt him on taking my contact information (I think he wanted me to do all the work and call back to provide all of the information a second time to him or someone else). Well the information was provided and I was told I will get a call on Monday. The call never came, which was not surprising, the employee really acted like I was an inconvenience in his day. I have since found another company who has assisted me and not just blown me off, I have also returned all of the purchases I made on my visit as I will no longer support this location. If the employees act like they don't want my business, it is easy for me to just go elsewhere. If the owner or manager is reading this and would like to contact me, I gave the employee all of my info, so as long as they did not throw it away it should be available. Super disappointing, but the last few visits have not been great, and I do not go to retail locations to be treated like trash.
