The Honest man

Had kids throw eggs at my house last summer called the non emergency line was told to fill out a report online and someone would be by to check it out since it was the third time. That was a year ago.

I recieved mail Informing me that a police report (that I previously Inquired into and applied for) was ready to be picked up at this location. To save reading time and to spare readers unnecessary details- though each detail would support this review- I visit the station to pick up my report... that for some reason us citizens have to pay money for... only to deal with an Incompetent receptionist. First and foremost this receptionist appeared to be insulted and or intimidated by my presence and appearance as an intelligent and respected Black man- especially in the PREJUDICE RIDDLED town of Amherstburg. I specify the report and even told this \worker\ that I received mail from the Chief of Police notifying me to pick up the report... the receptionist told me it wasn't there. So, based on my discernment of her attitude (and other factors) I ask the receptionist if she could write me a note that I in fact went to the Amherstburg location on that specific day to pick up a police report that \wasn't there\. Needless to say I walked out with my police report that APPARENTLY wasn't there..hmmm. Anyways... I write this because the receptionist's excuse for the situation was that \it was 'mis- filed'\. My question is.... IF the receptionist wasn't attempting to withhold a document that I paid for... then why is there ANY room for a 'mis filing' especially at a police station? And truthfully I don't care if this review receives attention or not... its posted & permanent & the truth... and additional proof of how this town is still as racist as the South - only difference is the bigots in this town are far more cowardice.
