I worked with Janine at LucasWorks! as a candidate for an executive level position. Janine was prompt, professional, and expertly delivered the critique and words of wisdom I needed to successfully land the role! Janine was genuine and insightful as to the needs of the employer, and would welcome the opportunity of working with her and the organization again.

Samantha was very welcoming and approachable! Throughout the entire process, Samantha was excellent in explaining and communicating each step and for any information required from myself. Overall, she definitely made my experience entering Lucas works an easy, fun and smooth transition.

Have dropped off a resume there numerous times for different openings. Have not heard a response back yet. Would definitely not be my first recommendation for finding a job.

Yeah, I'll have to give this agency 1 star seeing as I have dealt with them on two different occasions. The first time, Matt, who no longer works there and I was informed that he is now at Vista Print said he would get back to me, and did not follow through. The second time, I applied for a position, not to go through the agency, but at the agency. When I got there, again, I had to fill out the WHMIS quiz, which is annoying if people aren't guaranteed a position, and so old school and basic; there is so much more to Health and Safety than WHMIS. Anyhoo, I think her name was Brittany ( I don't feel like checking my e-mail right now) that I met with, and the conversation went okay. I was honest about my interest in branching my professional education to a different career path. The position I applied for was actually taken, because she said the agency did some internal rearranging. This to me was a *Red Flag* of wasting my time... AGAIN. After we met, did she follow up with me? No. Have I heard about any other positions that she could have connected me with? No. Also, all these agencies need to work on diversifying their staff, and that doesn't mean just hiring on someone of Middle Eastern Descent. Newcomers reside in this city from MANY other countries; and yes, I have seen the staff picture that was taken years ago in the place. LucasWorks does the bare minimum. They have their contracts with, I only know of VistaPrint, which btw I hear is a great non-unionized company *lol*, but do they really care? Nope. Maybe the city isn't equipped for them to do more? I don't know. You're better off going across the street to The Unemployed Help Centre - but i'll stop there.
