Dr. Tarabain is not only extremely thorough and an excellent doctor, but he is also supportive of his patients and their medical needs. After 5 years with him he has gone above and beyond time and time again. The staff is also very friendly, thorough and show care to the patients.

My first visit to see Dr Tarabain was great. He asked a lot of questions and took the time to answer. I never felt rushed. The secretaries were awesome

Dr. Tarabain is an excellent doctor. I've been a patient of his for 6 yrs. He doesn't mess around with tests. If he feels that you need a test he doesn't hesitate to tell you so. He is a kind Dr. and very thorough. He tells you straight to the point the prognosis. His staff is amazing. The receptionist always kind and always smiling. His nurse is kind as well.

An excellent physician. Unmatched in his field for caring compassion and competence.

Dr. Tarabain is a great physician, someone who cares, shows compassion for the patient; however, he eaves the country too frequently to be reliable. For months I've been trying to connect with him and his staff in order to know the results of my tests. I cannot for the life of me reach him. Calling his office, is nearly impossible. His staff have never returned my calls, and when i manage to get a hold of someone I am often left on hold for over 15-20 min (too long for a busy student with a full course load). I also have no way of knowing his office hours unless i physically go there, in which i do not have my own means of transportation and live too far from him to take transit. None of this would be a problem if HIS STAFF WOULD DO THEIR JOBS and contact patients for follow up results. Not to mention when you call you are unable to leave a message due to their voicemail not working. I realise that this may not be his fault; however his staff greatly impede his success.

I deal with Crohns Disease and Dr. Tarabain was my doctor for about 4 years. I do not throw this around lightly, but I would not recommend him to anyone I know. I strongly believe my quality of life would be better if I had left him sooner for another doctor that was willing to take the time to look at the details of my case more carefully. He exhibits no signs whatsoever of caring about, or advancing his career and the health of his patients beyond a generalized diagnosis and treatment. He clearly has more of a desire just be away on vacation, which it seems like he's on 6 months of the year. At numerous appointments, he walked into the room unprepared, and not up to speed on my case, at all. (Asking me questions like, what meds are you on now? The same ones he put me on.) To control the length of our appointments, he does this very comforting and caring trick of grabbing the door handle, hand tensed ready to open, waiting for you to stop talking with his face exuding boredom. Blink, and he's gone. After every blood test test I requested, and after the tests he would on occasion have me do, I would never get results back. I had to fight to hear them, and they would never be detailed. Only, \they were fine.\ Dr. Tarabain appears intimidated by anyone who will second guess him, or want to dig deeper into results that he deemed, \fine.\ He wants obedient patients who don't ask questions, and are happy with just good enough. After 4 years of dealing with his ignorance, laziness, un-replied emails, and frowning receptionists, I found a new doctor who is aggressive and highly motivated. My life has already improved significantly! Please, never feel like you're stuck with any doctor. If you aren't happy, leave, don't make my mistake. Your health is your job, be involved and don't settle for 'good enough.'
