Thank you to Windsor Interior Decorating and Design for the amazing job you did for our cottage dining room. We had not been able to figure out how to accommodate 8 people at a dining table plus keep our large china cabinet in our small dining room. Heather Prestanski not only figured it out beautifully but was able to add even more storage to the room including an ingenious wine rack. The design was fresh and complimented the rest of our décor perfectly. I would highly recommend Windsor Interior Decorating and Design to anyone wishing to update a single room or to do a whole home makeover. The service was quick, efficient and most of all the design work was absolutely beautiful and perfectly suited to our taste
We struggled so much with how to re imagine this space. It looked like a typical cedar cottage, with this huge stone fireplace and with so much wood on the interior. While we wanted to keep the beautiful richness of most of the wood, and the feature fireplace, we wanted to reflect that we lived here full time and needed a space to relax and spend time with family! Windsor Interior Design brought in light, natural colours which complimented the homey and cottagey feel of the house while toning down the "hunting cabin" look. The style is timeless and the pieces were functional, affordable, and allowed us to also keep our greenery! The colour palette is so ethereal and exactly what we were looking for in this space. Also, the modern furniture played perfectly against the earthy cabin feel. We could never have designed this on our own, we're so happy with the work that Windsor Interior Design did, we'll be calling them to help us with the outdated kitchen adjacent to this living room!
