Usually, Canadian Customs are friendly and professionally . However, Yesterday they put me to random check. I have no problem with that , but when I came back home ,I found out when they check my stuff, they broken my deed box. And nobody tell me. I just concern in the future if customs officer broken something more important, something that can't be fixed. Who will pay for it ? Or we are just completely out of luck ?

Coming byTunnel Bus from Detroit, first time in Canada. If you go by bus, everybody would step out and get checked. The bus would normally wait but if you have to spend more time here it would leave without you. Its also in the downtown Windsor so you can just go on foot anywhere in the city. Officers were professional and polite. No problems here. Overall a positive experience.
Very nasty police who think they can say and do whatever they want to you. They should be fired for what happened with me. Long story short I had to pay 800 dollars for an honest and simple mistake. I will never come back to Canada. It seem horrible there. Use the bridge and hopefully you won’t have the same horrible experience I did. The cops had guns pointed at us the entire time while we had no weapons and a small amount of legal marijuana. I felt very harassed and scared for my life by the cops pointing a gun at my head when none of us posed any sort of threat to anyone. We all had our hands up. We mistakengly took the tunnel because our map told us too. We didn’t know what the Windsor tunnel was and there was no signs saying anything in the dark. This is entrapment. I hope you guys feel tough and good about your joke of a life. Very tigger happy looking cops trying to be tough don’t go well together. You guys need a whole new team honestly
Canadian customs are usually very friendly and professional, tonight they pulled me for a random check, I travel to Canada allot, I suffer from anxiety disorder and I was upset and shaken. I work for the schools, never arrested but they treated me like I was guilty because I was nervous, part of my disorder. My pharmacy put two different brands of the same pill in my prescription. They treated me like I had illegal drugs asking me why these were different pills. After all this the customs officers mocked me for being upset as I was leaving. I love Canada, but I won't be coming and spending my money there anymore, thanks to the unprofessional, rude customs officers at the Canadian border of the bridge.
