Edit: Note this business is in Goderich and not Mitchell or other random places Google is deciding to mark it when I submitted my review... This is a great family run/operated business. Due to “Covid” and the issues with small business operations due to government shutdowns they like many places have been forced to lay-off employees and have just the family solely running the show. And, while undoubtedly stressful, it’s refreshing how to witness how accommodating and friendly they are towards customers. They’re a great example of how a small business should be operated, and hopefully they’ll be back to normal operations sooner than later so that others in the community can regain employment and be able to better support their families. Anyhow, my purpose for visiting them was to enquire about selling estate jewelry and scrap gold. Their buy prices were excellent and they offered me several ways to sell the jewelry, as well as providing good insight as to how the business of all that works so I know what to expect and learned of different ways on how to go about it. I’ll definitely be back in the future! Also, a message to others out there: when considering making such purchases, give serious thought to what your paying vs the service you’re receiving and all that accompanies that. If possible, try to support local businesses in these troubling times. Not only would you be helping your neighbours and communities, but developed relationships vs online sales still do mean something these days - especially in this market where trust is important and required given the materials involved.
