I've build fences aroung two backyards and two sheds using lumber and components ( windows and doors for sheds) from Schell Lumber. Excellent quality, prices beat those in big brick stores, great service.

The staff is always very helpful. Store is well merchandised which makes it easy to find what I need. The tool rental center also sharpens lawn mower blades and performs light tool repair. Definitely feels like my neighborhood hardware store.

This is a truely unique and special place. I refer specifically to the wood shop that is above the hardware store. Going up the stairs is like travelling back in time. The craftsman produce all sorts of pine moldings and doors. Highly recommended for anyone doing work on a historic or traditional Ontario home.
