Walked in today to pay a traffic ticket. Asked if they take cash, to which the lady responded yes. Tried to pay with Canadian legal tender, and they refused to take it. Manager got involved as I as confused, to which she said it was policy? I asked to see the policy, to which she came back with the currency act. I read it out, and pointed out why what she presented was irrelevant. Manager (Steve I think) got involved, Manager tried to read and understand. He went on about how they wouldn't take my money, then threatened to call security. I just find it ridiculous literally inside a court house with Judges , lawyers and police officers I still wasn't able to pay my stupid ticket. Don't be fooled, the law is only used against you. At this court house you don't have rights. Also you can't take pictures in the court house, so no pictures of the facility unfortunately.

I am in a tough situation I have a payment plan with the traffic court and its tricky because it's a few large fines slumped together and I'm supposed to pay 150dollars per month until may and then request another extension.....now I try to pay by phone and there are no options to do so and no attendant to help me with my problem now with no transport and the end of the month approaching how do I make this payment and how do I be sure that the proper fines are divided up the proper amount of money....does anyone have any advice please?

Tried to reopen my ticket case and emailed my application. Got a email reply saying I should send pdf format. I emailed the pdf file right away. I have my proof of sending email. I kept waiting for the reopening application result for a month. Nothing happened. Last Friday I got a mail from MTO saying my driver license was suspended. To get it back , I have to pay double money. The judicial system is packed with crooks. No one cares about me, a newcomer making a honest living.

The clerks and prosecutors are very rude considering it’s not a busy court at all as compared to Toronto they could use some better training.
