My 17 year old sister went to this branch with my mother to update her banking info and was ridiculed by one of their staff members. Her name was Sonia. Super unprofessional. She stated to my mother that she would be charged with “fraud” for handling my sister’s account... even though my sister has given her FULL consent to do so. This individual does not know what she is doing. We have already reported her to TD Canada Trust’s customer complaints and are awaiting a response. DONT BANK AT THIS LOCATION. Much friendlier locations around the Whitby area. Shame on this individual for picking on a 17 year old.

I hope TD Bank reads these customer reviews and feedback to improve their services. I had my appointment with SABITHA Paskaran today at 4.00 pm and it is such a shame for her that she kept me waiting for 9 minutes despite having a scheduled appointment with her. What is the purpose of scheduling ahead of time if they can't be punctual. Even if she had another call, was it more important that a customer that she choose to keep me waiting. The most shameful part is when I was about to walk away, she came out of her cabin and there was NO SINGLE WORD OF APOLOGY for keeping me waiting. When asked what time was it and we had a scheduled appt., she in her arrogant & non apologetic tone, said she was in a meeting. I asked her what is the process and eligibility of getting HELOC on second position, mortgage with EQ Bank. After checking for 5 minutes, she says sorry we will have to be move your mortgage as we don't work with EQ mortgages. Shouldn't this be a screening question when I fixed the appointment for HELOC? What a waste of time banking with TD Bank. Employees like SABITHA Paskaran are the reason why banking experience is poor and pathetic. I pity the organization and team for which such employees work for. This is a huge strike and I'd rather bank with some other institution who respects customer time. Nayak. Whitby

Tried to deposit using the ATM but because the bills weren't perfect wouldn't be accepted. So I went in to the teller who was equally frustrated with the machines. An automated world is not always best.
