Please don't go to Meta Vocational in Whitby! Drive to another location. I was in a major car accident as a pedestrian and went to Meta several years after to try to get Second Career funding in order to find a new career. While explaining my injuries/conditions as a result of my accident, their representative kept questioning what I was telling him. He asked if my condition was real and even spent time trying to ascertain if I was telling the truth. Then while trying to be empathetic to my struggle following the accident, he started asking questions about my wife and I's relationship and how it must be very difficult for us. He was very patronizing! Then came the worst of all. He wanted to know how everything affected our intimate relationship, if we had sex often. While my psychologicist at the time would ask similar things, it was because he cared about my emotional well being. There was no reason why Meta needed to know these types of things for my Second Career application. I filed a complaint, but I found the manager to be dismissive.

Since I tried this place looking for a job, I found this very difficult and too much of a problem. This is the worst place and experience I never got use to since the end of July 2000.
