If you are starting out on your real estate investing journey or have a handful of properties and want to grow, I’d strongly recommend joining the Action Taker Program. I joined Quentin’s program after taking a couple of missteps in 2017 property purchases. This program helped me not only to understand doing property analysis and how to calculate numbers but develop an investor mindset which is priceless. The cost of the program is a fraction of what you will recover by just buying one property. Now I am well on my way, ready to double my portfolio and know how to create a plan for that. If you want to invest in real estate, get coaching from somebody who does invest in real estate. I just completed Quentin's Action Taker Program and bought 3 properties over the last 4 months (one with a JV). I 'met' Quentin listening to episodes of various Canadian podcasts and watching his Real Deal Renos on YouTube. I reached out to him and signed up for the Action Taker Program. Quentin has a great program and is a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of real estate. It isn't hard. Invest in yourself, get out of your comfort zone, take big action for your future.

Here you'll find a mix of new investors looking to buy their first property sitting next to investors with dozens of properties - all willing to share information, tips, advice and support. This is a fantastic group of people all looking to help each other provide great housing for great people. There's no selling, pushing programs or ulterior motives - just great information and value. I recommend all my investor clients attend.
Durham REI is the one-stop learning of all things real estate for people of varying knowledge levels, whether experienced investor or not. Attendees always come away with info they can use. Novice or not, one will gain valuable info, outstanding contacts or even new friends. Quentin has established the mecca for real estate in Durham, just east of Toronto. Keep up the good work!
I have been attending the Durham Real Estate Investment meeting for three years. I make the drive from Barrie each month, and have yet to be disappointed.
