Called this place on December 28, 2020 hoping the best to get a cake done in 2 days for a friend’s birthday. And they were so nice and polite about all the details. They helped me with what would work better in taste and design and gave me warnings before confirmation about how the icing would stain our teeth, but we had a great laugh when everyone’s teeth were black. Just want to say thank you so much. I defintely would recommend this place to someone.

Great cupcakes!! We recently moved to Durham and we are trying local shops to support them. This place didn't disappoint. Social distancing is being followed and cupcakes tasted awesome. Will be back to try other stuff as well
Cupcake Junkie made the most delicious custom cake for my daughter's 18th birthday! The buttercream is incredible and the cake is decadent ️. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you so much Kelly, and the wonderful bakers & designers for the perfect cake to close out our birthday celebration. We'll be back for lots more!! I'ds share pictures, but I have no idea how to!!
While I usually love Cupcake Junkie, today was my first unsatisfactory experience. I placed a pre-order two weeks in advance (as per the attached photo) and when my husband went to pick it up, the staff had no clue about our order. I appreciate them quickly trying to decorate and put everything together given that it's Valentine's Day; however I wouldn't pre-order from them again. We'll stick with randomly dropping in, as the cupcakes (including these ones) are so delicious!
Placed an order from another province. Process was easy. All phone calls and emails were answered promptly. Excellent customer service, EVEN BETTER CUPCAKES!! the recipient was blown away. 100% recommend
