This store is clean and has a decent selection of items. The regular items are usually well stocked up. It is very rare that I won't find what I came for. I give this store 5 stars.

I love Bulk Barns and this one is good. Love shopping for spices and I can get a small amount or large. I have to stay out of the candy area , it's too tempting for me. They also sell a wide variety of other products , Flours, pie fill, nuts, specialty items, and loads more. Located at Taunton road in the Whitby smart Centres North . Enjoy
If I could give them one star for customer service I would. I attended the store recently for a quick purchase, and was greeted warmly by the staff. However my issue lies in that whilst I was standing in what would normally be considered the cash line-up. Both the cashier and another employee failed to mention that the line had moved all the way to the end of the store due to new COVID protocols, until another customer joined for her purchase, and watched as I stood in what was formally the line up for almost 5 minutes, then asked me to join the line behind the customer that just came. I would employ the staff to do better in the future because this could have easily escalated for no reason. Good customer service tells you to take the person next (myself) and redirect them for the future to where the new line (which there is no signage posted) is now.
Nice and clean store. They follow covid restrictions very strictly, which is good for health and safety of public and store employees.
A nice location with knowledgeable staff, albeit the location is a tad tight.
visited the bulk barn to buy some candy for making a gingerbread house with my son. after waiting outside in the rain for 20 min., the greater "person" was neither friendly or understanding to the fact that i do not use hand sanitizer due to an allergy (which i do not have to disclose). she followed me throughout the store and insisted that i wear the "plastic" gloves that were shoved in my face. Very rude. i left and spent my money elsewhere. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS STORE. (i have to give it at least a one star to poste)
If you haven’t been able to find flour like me in the regular grocery stores, I ordered two bags from Bulk Barn Whitby through curbside pick up & it was available for pick up within 30 mins. The employees were great- masked & gloved with hockey stick tap payment & they put your order in the trunk . Great job during the pandemic, guys!
Fantastic place. You'll be confused on what to buy but don't buy too much. Buy things in little quantities.
