If you are looking to get your area rug cleaned and scotch guarded in Durham Region. I highly recommend AC&F. They did an excellent job. My living room area rug looks brand new. The price was very reasonable not too mention how professional and friendly their process of curbside drop off and pick-up! Very reassuring and easy.

Alexanian has so much variety! We were pleased to find the exact colour combination in the carpet we purchased. We'd been to so many stores in search of the perfect carpet with dark blue and burgundy hues. We were very pleased with the service we received from Ramie and the price was reasonable for such a quality carpet. We will continue to tell our friends about Alexanian!

Selecting Carpet online during a pandemic is challenging, and Shant at the Whitby store understood that. As soon as lockdown ended I was in there and was happy to see their extensive carpet selection and meet Shant in person. His helpful & knowledgeable nature shone through. The carpet arrived exactly when he said it would & was installed shortly thereafter by Sam, who was Very courteous and professional. I'm happy with my carpet and would not hesitate to recommend Alexanian. I noticed the store carries window coverings too so head there when you're in the market for either flooring or window treatments.

I Hired Alexanian Carpet (Whitby store) to install carpet in 2 rooms, a hallway and on a curved staircase with many spindles. From my initial contact to obtain a quote, from Shant, to the installers completing the work today I was very impressed. The installers did an amazing job on the curved stairs and working with all the spindles (actually it was done better than it was before), did not make any marks on my walls or baseboards and they tidied up when they were done. I would absolutely recommend them and will use them again if we have carpet to replace in the future.

What a frustrating experience. Took my expensive Chobi rug to this location to have a dog vomit stain removed. I was unsure it could be cleaned, but I thought Alexanian would be my best option. Wrong. I found them to be unprofessional, unethical and dishonest. I’m not so much disappointed that they were unable to remove the stain, or the fact that the process took 3½ weeks, but more their unprofessional approach. They tried to sell me an additional stain guard before they even attempted to remove the stain. They charged my credit card a week before I got my rug back contrary to the terms of our contract. They promised to call me back at least three times during the cleaning process, that never happened. They told me that they did everything they could to remove the stain, but if I wasn’t satisfied, they would take it back to try again (why, if they had truly done everything they could?). The store manager told me all of this was unacceptable, but unfortunately he has no authority over the cleaning department; he also mentioned that mine was not the only ongoing complaint. Barry, the manager of the cleaning department argued that the only issue was his failure to return a phone call, and he refused to consider a full or partial refund of the cleaning charges. They just don’t get it. I will never again trust Alexanian with the cleaning of any of my rugs or carpets.
