The shop is clean and welcoming and has nothing but good vibes. I insta-stalked Kelsey for a few months and am blown away by her art. Finally I decided to book in and I have no hesitation to recommend the shop and Kelsey to anyone looking to get a tattoo. Seriously though, Kelsey is beyond talented! She did an incredible job creating my polar bear tattoo dream last October. She is gentle with the needle and honestly it didn’t start getting painful until maybe hour 5 when the white was getting added in. I am completely obsessed with how amazing it turned out and can’t wait to go back and add on more and more.

Came in today to finish my half sleeve wrap, which was began by another artist. Kelsey managed to do a very well designed black and grey realistic piece on the inside of my arm, blending witht he existing tattoo better than what I thought would be possible. Excellent service with a professionnal yet very friendly attittude!
Mixed reviews on this place. I have had two pieces and my partner has also had two pieces done. If you want something small done or something where you have an exact image of what you want there work is faultless and the quality and cost of the tattoo is good! However have had two very unprofessional instances with a specific male in the shop. First was pre covid when a tattoo was booked and had to be cancelled due to the shop closing. The deposit was kept on the intention that I would be contacted to rebook once the shop reopened however I did not get a call back and only was able to rebook when I went in to speak again. At this time they did not have track of the deposit paid or remember anything about this. After rebooking was told I would receive a drawing of the custom design a week prior, however this was never recieved. I was also told best way to contact was through the male artists instagram, which I had messaged a week or so before going in and got no response. When the time come for the tattoo the artist rang and told me that he never releases drawings which went against what I was told. All in all one poor experience from this guy and I wont be returning. Further to what was posted last week I have been contacted to the shop and they have asked to take down my review and in exchange they would give my deposit back. This concretes the unprofessional behaviour mentioned before and makes me question the validity and reliability of all other reviews posted thus far. Do not recommend.
Kelsey was so accommodating and professional along with making my first big tattoo experience as comforting as possible. She took everything I wanted and did her best to make it everything I wanted while working within my budget and time. I WILL be back to keep working on the piece, even though I’m not from whistler. I AM IN LOVE!
RYAN IS A ROCK STAR!!!! I started my day planning to get 2 tattoos done at another tattoo studio. They told me one was too complicated and they wouldn't do it. The other they did only an outline and not what I wanted. When I got out I phoned Whistler Tattoo and spoke with Ryan who said what I was looking for was no problem. I went right there and he turned what I wanted into an amazing piece of art. Everyone I have sent a picture to has replied OMG that's beautiful. I asked if he could give some life to the tattoo the other guys did. He said he would call me back after he did some checking. He did as promised and brought me in after hours to turn it into another amazing looking tattoo. I can't say enough about Ryan other than you should see him if you want outstanding body art.
