I have been going to Armchair Books for decades. I recently stopped by to get A Story of Karma by my friend Mike Schauch. Armchair Books had it in stock. An independent book store supporting a local author. There is a good selection of books, including local interest, fiction, children’s books, magazines and more. Centrally located in Whistler Village.

Armchair Books have the most incredible service. Free delivery to Whistler and Squamish. If they don't have a book in stock they happily order it in. And their communication is impeccable. They personally respond to your order with a estimated time of arrival. They were so helpful when I needed to return books that I ordered in the wrong language. Everyone has gotten a book as a gift this Christmas as I have been so impressed by these guys. Thank you for your wonderful service.

A decent selection for the size of the bookstore. Friendly staff. They didn't have to book I was looking for, but made every effort to help me find it and offered to order it. Would recommend.

Fantastic local book store with a great selection of children's and young adult novels. They also highlight local authors and had a great selection of Whistler, BC, and Canadian history, cooking and nature books. Super charming!
