We are long time customers, purchasing kayak wheels, Clipper Canoe, Current Design kayak, many many specialty water sport items. When our daughter purchased elsewhere a NDK kayak, there were no Seals brand or any available fitted skirts. Yes, she could use an off the shelf one, but due to the cockpit shape it wasn't ideal. Talking with Laura at WCK, no problem, a special custom order. Laura was able to work with Seals and waive a huge custom order fee to be included with WCK order and then made arrangements for delivery to a remote location. Laura went above and beyond for our order. WCK does care and delivers exceptional customer service.

Excellent service and very helpful friendly staff. However I'm very disappointed with the canoe they built for me. Big chip in the side, ridges from where the boat was not sanded correctly or lumpy mold, gunnel covers were all scratched , decals have big bubbles in it , scrapes in the fiberglass mold. I was told by the sales person that The wilderness package(lashing kit ) was supposed to be fiberglassed in \added strength \. Its glued in, the sales person was just up selling and not enough training. This canoe cost me 3000. I wouldn't mind some minor imperfections. But this is not good. Clipper picked up the boat the next day and are building a new one. This is good, but now our canoeing camping trip has to be canceled. Sad kids and frustrated parents. Not a nice experience buying our fist locally made canoe.
