Don't move to this apartment! Landlord increase rent in middle of Pandemic more than 6 percent they have no sense of humor everyone is leaving from this apartment, you can't use amenities that you are paying for and they increase the rent on top it. They charge you 120 for parking while there is no security in that area and not safe a lot of break into cars and vandalize and water leaking from the roof of that parking and it is so dam dirty you don't want even go to that place...Don't be fooled by those cute photos on their web site you will be disappointed

I was able to talk to office and Jason the lease manager address my issue. They are pretty busy and you better drop in if you want to get your issue address. I will be moving by mid April and will update the review again. Okay we finally Moved in, the move in process was pretty smooth since we were lucky and we were only one moving that day but in general Apartment is under construction and I suggest you move on Sundays since construction people not there! There are some issues with our unit which been addressed the next day. I see everyone has its own concern about this building but My major concern is, Can you imagine you need to swipe to get to Parking lot and Swipe again to open the gate and get out! There is no remote I understand we are using another building parking but come on upgrade that dam gate it is 19's century technology! we are pay premium price for that parking and this is what we get it is note fare! Finally most of construction are done and resident can experience the modern building and the key factor I see here management is on top of the issues and try to keep the building clean which to me is very important. Elevator is still a big concern and I think management should do something about it since this high rise building can't function with one or two elevator out of service most of the time. It is expensive Rental unit to live in this area with the fact that there is no cap for rent increase and you have to pay Parking, Utility extra.. and with COVID time not able to use any of the amenity.
Absolutely not a good building to move in especially in COVID time very pour management which has no understanding of Pandemic situation especially the recent manager! actually since we were here 3 property manager have been changed in matter of a year. there are a lot of issue with this building since it is not build to last so from the sick to shower faucet and dishwasher is breaking apart while the building is consider new No Parking and what you get for 120 per month is an old unsecured parking from the nearby building which is so dirty and with a lot of problem so before sign anything go take a look and see if you really want to put your car there as everyone says here this building is built recently which mean is exempt from Ontario rent increase cap and management shows no mercy in increasing rent we saw it in the pandemic 7 percent and more! Don't get carried away with some of the fancy reviews since they are biased by the property management so it doesn't reflect the reality!
Great building been living here since October 2020. COVID protocol and rules are being followed such as cleaning and sanitizing. Elevators act up and take a long time but it’s been better lately. Dimitri is a great guy helps in everything you need and assists when needed. Very quiet building. PET friendly .
I’ve been living at West22 since June 2019. I live in a one bedroom apartment and I really , just adore it. I have lots of adequate space for myself and my things. The view from my balcony is priceless! Being objective ,I do understand that it’s a new building and there was a bit of a delay on the amenities, problems with the elevator and some other small issues. From what I’ve noticed the staff makes sure to fix the issues as soon as possible, I see them always working hard ,even on issues out of their control. Things have been running smoothly so far and I have no complaints. I feel very grateful to live here! Thank you West22 Team!
