Worthwhile short hike with a fantastic view.
Whyte Islet, a little island off of Whytecliff Park, is accessible only when the tide is out. It's a very popular place to visit and climb. The rocks leading to the island can be quite slippery, so take your time. Parking is available at Whytecliff Park. Walk down to the beach from the parking lot and take a short stroll across the sand. You'll see the island. To be able to walk to the island, you'll need to time your visit with when the tide is out.
Amazing views, found a parking spot on the first loop around the lot, surprised its not gated off yet, as it could be considered quite dangerous to walk/climb up on the rocks.
