We spoke to three different companies before choosing Stan for our blinds. Our decision was based partly on initial impressions and partly on the recommendation from some friends. Our installation was particularly tricky given the eight large floor-to-ceiling windows including four full height lift-and-slide doors. The blinds, motors, and valances all had to fit in a very limited space. Of all the people we spoke to, Stan spent the most energy coming up with a design that satisfied our constraints and was aesthetically pleasing. We can't commend him enough for the effort. On installation day, he personally stayed the entire time to make sure everything was correct. The entire experience did not disappoint and I will be sure to use him again when the need arises.

We have purchased blinds and draperies for several of our homes each time we move. We have found the entire process from prompt booking of a in home estimate, to the responses on any inquires to be fast. Also, the turn around time for installation has been often quicker than promised and the installers are always respectful, professional and clean. The Sales people have always given a great selection of choices, their prices have always been competitive and the customer service is exceptional. I would highly recommend this company.
While doing some spring cleaning we unfortunately damaged our sheer drapes both for the living and dining room windows. With the drapes damaged beyond repair I started to do some research. I sent a quick note to S. Laursen & Son Draperies & Blinds. Right from the start Stan was a true professional, he promptly responded to my email and followed with a phone call. Any further research was dropped and I am so glad that I made this decision. I found Stan to be highly knowledgeable of his craft. His attentive and friendly manner as he worked through all of my questions was amazing. It was a pleasure dealing with Stan and it is his professionalism and expertise that I would not hesitate to recommend S. Laursen & Son to anyone. My drapes are beautifully made and I could not be happier. Thank you Stan.
We have used Laursen & Son last year for the installation of black out drapes for one bedroom window. We needed to have the room as dark as possible due to our daughters light sensitivity with her chronic migraines. The result was great and the room is as dark as it possible can be. Since we were so impressed the customer service and attention to detail from Stan with the consultation and follow up and Terry with the perfect installation, we decided to call Stan again for our newest project. One small piece on our 40year drapery track broke down and Stan suggested a repair and Terry tried to fuse the new pieces with the old but it didn’t work properly. I consulted Stan and he found a solution within one day, which was installed yesterday by Terry again with great results. Terry even hung up the drapes afterwards and left everything as last time in perfect order. Stan only charged us for one service trip, since the first repair didn’t work, which was greatly appreciated. We are so pleased with their product and service that we will use Laursen again for all of our future window covering needs and will recommend them to our of our friends and acquaintances. Perfection Our new window coverings are perfect. We contacted S. Laursen & Son and received attentive and friendly professional service. The windows were carefully measured, the custom blinds arrived very quickly and the installation was efficient. Everything in the room was left tidy, neat and clean after the install. Pricing was very competitive. We could not have had a better experience. We are delighted with the finished look.
