Great product and well engineered. Assembling the tub (54'') is easy, but it takes much more time then expected. Important to read the whole document before starting (ask to receive it before the tub arrive). Viewing the assembly video a few times help very much (ask for the link). Assembly takes a long week-end work. Staff is always there to answer questions. Made a few mistakes during assembly, but turn out that I missed information in user manual (way to much information at the same place for me). It would be usefull to have a simplified manual (like the video) stipulating right amount of glue, silicone, etc. At the end, it worth every penny invested in the product; just great feeling in it and very nice tub.

I stumbled upon this company while searching Amazon.ca for a replacement heater box and topside controller for my 2008 Bullfrog 562 spa. By Googling "Northern Lights Group - Canada" as indicated in the Amazon ad, I was able to navigate to cedartubsdirect and I'm glad I did. They had the exact Balboa EL2000 M400 retrofit kit that I needed to repair my spa back to factory spec. I took advantage of a 10% discount coupon offered by them. The delivery was very reasonably priced and fast with Canada Post expedited delivery., although it actually came UPS Expedited. Dieter in technical assistance was very helpful. I would not hesitate to deal with this company again and I will, gladly, recommend it to others. An all around positive and satisfying experience.

I purchased a Timberline Wood Fired Water Heater for my swimming pool Spring of 2018. I have used it a total of four times and it rusting badly and leaks. I made a claim with them by submitting pictures and they responded by email that since I used with and in ground swimming pool the warranty is void. I have left messages and sent emails to request the opportunity to discuss this. So here is my word of warning. 1. Even though it says it is stainless steel you will see visible rust in 1 year or less. In my case, they are saying that since I used the heater with an in ground swimming pool the warranty is void -- so I guess they don't even address the rust. It leaks on the outside of the unit at the flu because of rust. 2. They are clear on the parameters regarding the PSI and usage and even if you follow these (I can guarantee that I watched it like a hawk) the weld will not hold up and the water will leak inside the firebox. 3. After using it three times last year, I called to say there was water running out of it. They will tell you it is condensation. I suggest you look further because this heater was leaking the water from day one and since I did not know any better, I trusted what they said. 4. If you have a problem, they will avoid you and not return your calls.

WOW. If you want an ongoing project this is it. You need a pool guy, a wood guy and an electrician. Check out the manual, it's like building a small aircraft. There is a lot of explanation as to why you do things, but how? That's up to you. Staining it is a mess, and if you don't do it just right it turns a 10,000 tub ugly. Also the rags of the stain spontaneously combust, learned that the hard way. Oh and if your 3 button panel has an error message a week after you start it, there is absolutely nothing in this huge manual that covers troubleshooting mechanical issues. Call your pool guy back. Also, the WIFI thing never worked once. Other than that it's a beautiful tub. Updated my review. After we replaced a faulty pump things started to work perfectly. It's a lot of work, but nice when you finally figure it out.
