Aside from the delicious food, I love the laid back feel of the place. It is not pretentious, just very friendly. If the vegetarian menu had more variety, we would definitively go more often! We were hoping to order diner to go, but the restaurant had reopened for sit-in. The tables were spaced out and we felt safe and confortable. What a treat to be able to go to the restaurant after so many months at home!

Lovely meal at the Wellington gastropub pub. Covid measures followed. You will be asked to check in upon arrival. We had a gin gimlet and tooth and nail stout to drink -- both were good. The gimlet is a bit tart, but in a delightful way. We got the wheat and oat sour dough bread with whipped brown butter to start. It was so delicious we didn't get a chance to take a picture. For mains we opted to share the braised beef short ribs and gnocchi with delicata squash and cauliflower. Both were excellent and full of seasonal ingredients.
Just finished the Bento Brunch Box and it was delicious. Highly recommend. We're looking forward to trying other menu items. Thanks for a great lunch guys!
Picked up a brunch bento box and it was a nice selection of nibbles - French toast, Ham and apricot terraine, spinach quiche square, beef short rib croquette, a yorkshire pudding with some fruits stuffing and a yogurt and granola dessert. Great selection for 20. Only detraction was they forgot to include cutlery and napkin.. I could not wait and used my fingers for the majority and found some napkins in my bag..
I've been here on three different occasions and look forward in returning. I have tried many restaurants in Ottawa and this is definitely the best one.
