I have made numerous purchases at St. Jacobs Furniture House over the years and have always had a great experience. Their staff is friendly and helpful, and I have always found their pricing to be very competitive. My most recent experience there was, by far, my most positive. They were able to get a sought-after sectional to me in record time, and their delivery team was incredible: friendly, polite, considerate, and efficient. I will certainly purchase from St. Jacobs Furniture House in the future. From start to finish, Sylvia and her team were amazing!

We ordered a sectional sofa last Saturday, after some detailed measuring and figuring out. We want to tell you about our excellent experience at your store on Benjamin Rd. Jessica greeted us on Thursday, and was very friendly, helpful and patient with our shopping for our “inspiration”. When we found the sectional we really liked she was extremely precise in preparing quotes and measurements to take home and check with our space. After a requote on Friday, based on our actual room dimensions, we placed our order on Saturday. Jessica was such a pleasure to deal with: friendly, smiling, efficient, thorough, and precise. She made our decision to buy at St Jacobs Furniture House such an easy one. Thank you so much For your excellence in customer service, and expert assistance. It’s a great place to shop.
Poor customer service from the day I placed my order up and to the day I cancelled. I would not recommend. I entered the store on Nov 14th 2020, I asked for assistance from an older looking guy behind the counter. I showed him a picture of the couch I was interested in but he simply told me to look around. He acted like I was there to window shop and not to actually buy. Upon his unwillingness to help me, I saw another salesperson on the floor and I placed the order in the couch I was interested in. I was told that I would get the couch 4-6 weeks (latest early January 2021). January 2021 came and I made a phone call to the store. Person on the phone told me it will be arriving late January. When late January came, I placed a phone call again and I was told mid February to late February. Finally, I had enough and I called once more at end of February (Feb 26th) . A guy on the phone answered and told me that he would look into my order and call me back. No call back. Eventually, I called once more and spoke to the salesperson who sold me the couch. The salesperson did not seem apologetic or courteous. No form of compensation or discount due to the late delivery. He also told me it will be coming in mid to late April. 6 months late delivery was enough and I cancelled the order. The worse customer service I ever experienced. Late deliveries. At least, have the courtesy to call in advance when the order is super late.
We purchased a canadel table and hutch for our kitchen and the purchase experience was fine. When we assembled our table, we found out that the table was damaged so we called and were given an email address to send pictures of the damage and we would then be directed on what to do next. We emailed 2.5 weeks ago and no response. We called 3 days ago and no response. We'd love to talk to someone about this so we can get our table fixed! I can't recommend a business that isn't responsive when we receive no support for defective products.
We only buy our Furniture here, as well as wall hangings etc. Just purchased our Sectional and table. Along with some decor pieces. Drove in from Seaforth.
