For my money one of the best winter activity centres in southern Ontario! There are a good combination of classic and skate skiing, and snowshoeing trails for beginners, intermediate and advanced athletes.

We drove for an hour to Wassaga to be told we are not welcome to ski there. Order to stay home? How about the exceptions to exercise outdoors? There had been 20 cars in the parking lot for 30 km of trails. That is enough space to spread around! I really didn't appreciate the attitude of the park attendant and this should have been posted on the website!

This is a beautiful place in which I have been visiting for my entire life, having grown up just down the street from the park. I love to walk here for peace and solitude. I know of a few spots where a small camp fire can be safely lit and extinguished, shovels provided for the sand to smother the flames, and firewood pre cut to burn. All it takes is a little know how to get a cozy flame lit and one can just sit there and ponder the universe and all it holds with no thought to outside stresses for however long one chooses to visit. In the winter season, of course they would prefer you bring skis and a trail pass as a lot of work goes into keeping the trails groomed. At this time of year, a nighttime sit at the entrance where there is 24/7 lighting and benches as well as tables is plenty enough for me to hang out and clear my mind. As apposed to my new home in Warren, I need not worry about the wildlife. With the rest of my family still in Wasaga. This park will forever be a part of my life. I have fond memories of the place spanning decades.

In the heart of Wasaga Beach is a chance to do Forest bathing and Earth Walking. The stillness is overwhelming at first but you adapt. Perfect for all seasons

Great trails for cross country skiing. When we went there trails were a bit icy , for most part well maintained
