Screens broken. Doors broken. Ceiling fans broken. Dishwasher broken. Dirty with spider webs everywhere. Chair rusted out and broke. No dock. Lock to the water gate didn't work. Old garbage in a bin beside the house stinking BAD and attracting all kinds of wildlife and flies. And Zero reply from Aaron. Stay away!!!

The house was filthy, everything was absolutely disgusting- especially the floors. We had to thoroughly wipe everything down before we felt comfortable using the bathrooms or the kitchen. During a pandemic I would expect much stricter cleaning guidelines as this house was disgusting even before COVID-19 standards. The house as in rough condition, most things were broken but that wouldn't be a big deal if the house was clean. Save your money, this place is way overpriced for the quality you get.

I spend a weekend in 2018 then then send me 250 gift card. I was trying to redeem the gift card after my visit in July 2019. They said charge the full amount first then adjust the 250 down when I check out. I called them 3 times and being 2 months. They are not going to refund the money and keep saying the price I payed is after the 250 dollars off. They don't even ask my personal information. I won't be in that lair's cottage anymore.

we rented a full property for 25 graduating students in february - paid the 1500 initial deposit and then the 3600 per contract on due date - the owner Aaron Armstrong emailed us on may 14 stating he double booked - his only option was a haunted themed hotel - which was not acceptable - he then cancelled our reservations - its been a month now and we still can not get the 3600 back - he has mailed it to the wrong address associated with the postal code - we have asked him for two weeks now to put a stop payment on this - but he says NO the cheque will arrive eventually - these kids are out 3600 for any type of graduation - he has lied repeatedly stating refunds would be back to us within 7-10 days - but in fact he didnt even process this until the 10 day - and will not provide back up - My daughter who was the group organizer has begged him to stop payment and she would drive to wasaga to pick up a new cheque and he still says NO - that he is a reputable business in wasaga ---WHAT KIND OF REPUTABLE BUSINESS RIPS OFF KIDS FOR THE GRADUATION MONDAY??????we just want our money back - and as a business owner i would think he would be honorable and pay this back asap - as the contract was cancelled in writing my himself.

Kind of tight for the amout of people it mentions it sleeps. Also the bathroom door doesn’t work. If you plan on doing anything inside the cottage with your group it is difficult. However, the deck is plenty big.
