Very senic and beautiful. It was a very wintery day with temperatures of -7 degrees on one side of the island and it definitely was freezing with the wind chill. However on the opposite side of the island it felt like spring had sprung much milder temperature and it felt like 10C in the sunlight. What a difference it was. An afternoon well spent enjoying the beautiful sandy coastline.

Love the waves, and its depth. Lifeguards on duty were on their canoe making sure the area is being watched so you feel safe. Water was clear and fresh. The sand felt thick and soft. Like the fact it wasn't that busy.

Nice beach with a great view of Scarborough Bluffs. The water is usually cold so I would recommend coming here during the summer heat waves if you're planning on swimming.

Excellent place to get away from the city if you are looking for a day trip. Lots of things to do and you can enjoy this getaway at your own pace. The views are great and there is so much to enjoy. If you are a city dweller then it is a great option for not much money.

Great beach just off the Ward Island ferry which is quite sheltered and very sandy - both on the beach and in the water. Can get crowded on weekends and holidays.

Had a great time at the Toronto Islands. Wards Island was our last stop. We had dinner at the Rivera which was a nice restaurant facing the lake. While having dinner we met six toes the cat When we took the boardwalk back to the ferry we saw some wildlife.

It was one of the most beautiful places I've been to so far. The place was gorgeous. We were kinda short of time so we had to cut our trip short. But out of all the time spent there it was all remarkable. The people there were really helpful. The beaches there were amazing. Luckily there weren't many people as other beaches. Overall it was a great experience going to the island in a ferry and the night view on our way back to the center was a cherry on top.

One of the amazing highlights of visiting Toronto. Beautiful large sandy beach. Great for a swim a picnic or sun bathing. No nudity here.
