We just love this store. Whenever we were in the area we would always stop in for work boots, winter underwear, suspenders, hats, cooking utensils, baking supplies, etc. We especially liked the Mennonite home baking, lemon tarts, long johns and multigrain cookies. Since we moved away to Windsor five years ago we really miss the Wallenstein General Store. I am happy to report that they are willing to ship anything to us at our new address. They are always so accommodating. It is truly a wonderful store. Thank you. Hilary and Luigi

I always love coming here because this store is a hidden gem. It is a good place to experience a little bit of Mennonite life as they speak Pennsylvania Dutch around the store. It's also a prime spot to watch buggy traffic on any given day. You can buy all kinds of things here, such as fabrics, Mennonite hats or clothes, books (including German ones), an ice cream cone, and so on. There is limited parking, but it is fairly wheelchair accessible (although the front door isn't automatic). They take cash, cheque, debit, and credit.

Small home town feel, always greeted with a smile. Find what you have been looking for. Great place to stop in its worth it.

Just before Christmas, very busy, but staff was very helpful and gracious. Also they had exactly what I needed.
