Very diverse area and beautiful scenic hike. This place is huge. The Sydenham River makes an almost semi-circle starting north of the entrance until it continues around to the southeast corner of the conservation. This area of watershed is interesting, as it seems to be full of different types of wetlands. One that stood out to me was the apparent forest swamps throughout the area. Near the center of the conservation is a decent sized marsh, and what looked to be a creek connecting the Sydenham to the marsh on the southside (I got a bit lost. Don't follow the red markers on the trees!). The songs of woodland birds and Grey Tree frogs could be heard all thought the forest. Very peaceful and an enjoyable landscape worth a visit.
