Whomever decides to buy a house from this company should look into its longstanding history in Wainwright. Quindell originally started in Wainwright under Deer Ridge homes and some might know them as Mitchco Builders. With so many name changes one has to wonder why. As with many things once you change the name you think that people will forget about the indiscretions of the past company. Quindell's beginnings were based on delivering overpriced, low quality homes that had numerous corners cut. Building delays were the norm and many people were left out in the cold for many winters. I was one that got pulled into their building plans. I come from a family of home builders and I was constantly on Mitch and his partner at the time over building infractions on the property. These included using plastic on both the inside and outside walls in the garage, overhang infractions on the second floor (this later caused freezing pipes every winter). House air inlet in direct line to the furnace exhaust vent. This causes carbon monoxide to potentially build in the house. The biggest issue was the over-payment on the house that was to be built. The plans were changed without my knowing to reduce the square footage on the house and therefore have to deliver less. The list goes on but the experience was challenging. It all ended in a lawsuit against the company but as it changed names well you can follow the money but it is costly. The original companies accumulated lawsuits so I think we all know why the company changed names. I still don't know how this company stays building in Wainwright but I have moved on and think about the experience of dealing with Mitch as little as I can.

I have yet to see ONE building that this outfit has built that I would care to call a HOME ! Using shoddy materials, i.e chipboard that leeches toxic gas after a short while, then what. The do not have a pleasant appeal, from my point og view they are just pain UGLY. Also who in the Town of Wainwright permitted them to violate our current bylaws, a minimum of 5 feet from each property line. Who ever sanctioned this should be dismissed ! Also a duplex on a single family lot?
