Fake maple syrup seems normal for the reasonable price. A bit Bland. The waffles were okay and a bit salty. The fried chicken was basically chicken breast tenders with hardly any seasoning. No dark meat or bones. Allows you to eat it with a knife and fork quite easily. Not appealing to me. A better gravy could of saved the meal but it was watery as hell. The chicken did have a nice crispy batter and was pretty juicy. They are probably great for a sandwich with some other form of sauce. I'd try their chicken sandwich and skip the chicken&waffles. Maybe I just got unlucky in the gravy department and it's usually better.

Pretty delicious food at both their location and their truck. A tiny bit pricey for what you get but you know you are getting quality. Cheesy Waffle sandwich is wonderful, especially if you love that combo. There is not a bad thing on this menu. If you see the truck then make sure to stop or save yourself the trouble and hit them up at the crossroads market.

Ordered from them through DoorDash they accepted the order and then cancelled it an hour later because “they were closed”. Don’t accept orders you can’t fulfill. Never getting my business again and will tell anyone who asks where never to get waffles and chicken. Weak consequence, but maybe it will decrease your revenue by more than I would have paid.

I would really love half portion sizes, I know you can pour batter on half a waffle iron. But coming from a girl who goes to the southern US for soul food, This. Is. Good. The white gravy, AMAZING.

Really good waffles. Crispy yet soft. Chicken was very flavourful without being greasy or overly salty. Served by very fine people. Thank you very much. Great eats on the last Saturday of summer.

One of our favourites in the city. You get a good substantial amount of food for the price and the food is always at the highest quality and so fresh. We are longtime fans of this establishment. Definitely a must have in YYC!!!
