Great selection of road bikes for entry level riders like my partner, or full carbon models for the enthusiast (like me). Both my partner and I bought our new road bikes from Mark (the owner) and were impressed with the service. I've recommended Village Cycle to my family and friends. Thanks Mark, Connor & Martha

I recently gave Village Cycle a try for my first time with a standard tune up with a chain replacement and rear brake replacement added on. Folks in the store seemed nice, and arranging the tune up was smooth. After I tried riding my bike is when I hit an issue. The new rear brakes nearly fell off while I was riding. When i got off and inspected the issue, one of the pads was hanging loose. Upon tightening the pad back in place I found that the brakes were not balanced, NOR was my rear tire centered! My brakes are direct-pill cantilever types so it wasn't too hard to fix, but I was frustrated to find my bike come back with these problems when I paid for a tune up. I would not recommend taking your bike here if they can't even tune my brakes.

I toke my bike into get repaired, all the gears and crank set. They said it would be a few days max, after about a week they call saying that they aren't able to fix it. So I picked my bike up and a grocery bag full of the parts they took off and can't repair. They were gonna charge for the labour. I took it straight to first cycle works, dropped it off and picked it up a day later fixed perfectly.

Quick repairs and decent selection of bikes and accessories. Great to have a place like this in the area.

Hi I thought I would keep the business in the village but NOT with these guys. I brought my bike in for something and I had a few things to bring in and out of the 3 guys standing in the store not one helped me in the door with my bike. lalalal about the bad customer service while in there.... going out was terrible...i had stuff in my hands and I told them I was just in a car accident to my neck was really bad............ on my way out ...again NOT ONE HELPED ME... a bit harder getting out as the door is on the opposite side. my bike fell half way out the door my new helmet crashed into the street and almost caused an accident...so i'm struggling to get my bike up with the door closing on us and still NO HELP the guy just looked at me. wth??? really guys? so I posted this experience on my fb. and not to my surprise in the first day I had women posting about similar experiences... so can't wait to hear the rest of the issues with this place. DO YOU GUYS HATE WOMEN OR WHAT??? or u r just pr*cks!
