Young drivers closed the office in Victoria before my son could complete the course. Their solution was to continue the program in either Duncan or Vancouver, which is obviously no solution at all. They then offered a partial refund and said that they had an arrangement with another driving school in Victoria to continue the course, which turned out not be be true. I will now have enroll my son in another program, in the end costing far more than if we had not enrolled in YD. The experience has been even more frustrating because of the long hold times waiting to talk to a representative. I cannot recommend YD.

Look, we are in very difficult times, I get that. However, YD now appears to be in breach of contract with their students, and finally offering only partial refunds. Sad to see this sort of poor behaviour from what used to be such a well respected company.

Very bad customer service, you can’t get a hold of anyone, you will be on hold for 10 mins before you can maybe talk to someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing. And will transfer you to another department and you’ll be on hold for another 10. They won’t tell you that your department has been shut down for the past 4 months, and they won’t give you partial refund for what you didn’t get, when you purchased the full package i.e.(1512). I waited over a year to book my road test and didn’t even get it. Money gone.

Awful. My driving instructor threatened to write negative things on my file because I said I wanted a different instructor, so I complained to YD who said they would give me a new instructor and that they would contact me to schedule, etc, then proceeded to ignore e-mails from me and avoid re contacting me. It has been like 3 months now. I have already told friends and such to steer clear of YD in the future. They still owe me lessons too. For 1500 you'd think they would take better care of their customers/students.

My class was postponed indefinitely and I wasn't notified, the class dates on the website are inaccurate, they don't respond to emails, and now aren't processing refunds indefinitely.
