I dropped my vehicle off as planned for a diagnostic test on the battery which was performed and resulted in a recommendation to resolve the draw on it. Of course this would be a significant additional charge to the 139.00 for the test. When dropping the vehicle off, I noted to the service desk clerk that the service maintenance alert was on and requested the recommended service for the mileage be carried out. It appears recommended mileage services are no longer being followed as an oil change was performed in addition to a multi point inspection only to tell me what needed to be done. Had the recommended service been carried out, the basics of changing air filters would have been performed! Additional items noted for repair were front park lamp bulbs out, left rear tire puncture, etc., etc. etc. informing me that my car required a significant amount of work. When I questioned this, I was informed that the new service tech was an expert with 15 year experience and had detected a multitude of items for repair. Okay, so be it, but what type of organization, does not contact the owner and request to carry out basic repairs that are a safety issue prior to picking up the vehicle. Under the JP Auto Group, Volvo Victoria provided excellent service and I would never have arrived to find the tire had not been repaired or the light bulbs replaced, not to mention the standard service of replacing the air filters. Consequently, took my vehicle to Kal Tire for the tire puncture which by then was flat! If this is the level of service to be expected from the Gain Group, you have lost my business. This is unfortunate, as I was seriously considering purchasing another Volvo in the very near future. To address the situation I reached out to the Service Manager and no response!

Our XC40 has been serviced here a couple of times. We had a dent fixed through this dealership along with a shield replacement on the dash that was scratched. All of those experiences were very pleasant and the staff were amazing. I also purchased a roof box from the parts department and they were very kind as well along with helpful in putting it on my car. Great dealership, great cars!

Volvo Cars Victoria is now owned by Gain Group and the experience is outstanding! We've been a Volvo customer for 4 years now and had many terrible dealings with the old JP dealership so much so that I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to the brand in the future and was considering cutting my loses and walking away from my lease even though I loved my vehicle. I can safely say now that the experience is night and day different! The staff are excellent and the attention they provided us was outstanding. If you were shying away b/c of bad experiences with the old staff at JP Volvo now is the time to go back! The manager JM really came through for us in acknowledging and recognizing the poor issues we had in the past and he got us an amazing deal on a new hybrid vehicle. The switch from my old model to my new model was seamless and I got to keep all my favourite accessories. I've had excellent and thorough follow up from the staff to ensure everything is working well and I'm understanding the vehicle and it's functions. I highly recommend Volvo Cars Victoria, especially if you had any dealings with the old dealership, you will be impressed and well taken care of!

I hate to do this because since I've been a Volvo owner, (18 months) I've been extremely satisfied with the dedicated service from Volvo service team. I knew the price were higher from elsewhere, but remained reasonable considering the quality. I had water infiltration this spring, and the team got it fixed under the warranty, and remove my seats to let the interior dry completely, and at no cost. They didn't have to. But I just got an oil change at a cost of 190 before taxes when I paid 80 within the last year, that is non-sense. Plus I was charge 13 for a service I did get (I booked online, and flagged a nail in my tire that would need repair - put the screw didn't punctured the tire, so no repair was needed - I was still charged a fraction of the service). Sorry Volvo, but unless I don't have the choice, I'll go to Landsman Motors. Where's all the previous and fantastic staff? 6 stars for past experiences- this might just be an unfortunate ownership transition road bump?
