Like any 2nd hand store, ya have to be somewhat knowledgeable re what's collectable vs price. Or, perhaps something catches the eye that ya just gotta have. Me, as long as what I'm ogling is in good condition at a good price, it's mine. I enjoy brouzin' the WIN stores particularly 'cause they don't sell junk. They seem to be knowledgeable about what their customers expectations are including cleanliness, organization and, first and foremost, affordability. What really turns my crank is when I come across a great find. Usually, at least every 2nd or 3rd visit, I stumble across a collectable, sometimes worth a considerable dollar. Mostly, I don't experience that with their competitors. Two thumbs up, especially, cause what we all spend at the WIN supports Women In Need creates job opps for what seems to be...women. What a deal!

Always friendly sales staff and clean stores. Prices are high for anything remotely designer looking and still too high for low-income folks. WIN started out as a profit making business with a portion going to non-profit. Has that changed?

Received Excellent customer service from a gal who helped me with buying a phone there. She set it up, found some batteries so I could test it. Very kind person with a refreshing Can Do attitude! Bought the phone and it is working just great. Wish I got her name, wish all service people were as pleasant and helpful as she was. Will definitely be back. Prices are a little on the high side but as it goes to helping other women I bite the bullet.

This is a great store with a good cause. Lots of good clothing finds including designer ware at great prices.

Just went into the new furniture side of WIN about 10 minutes ago. I have been in there a few times since they opened ....all with my 50lbs leashed dog. I didn't even consider going in with my dog until I saw multiple people go in with theirs (with no problems from the staff). ....Anyway, I go in today and was told that my dog couldn't be in there because she is too big. She is no bigger than any of the other dogs I have seen in this store...ironically, with people who were talking to the same person who said no dogs today. So double standard? Admittedly, those people looked either well off or like hipsters and I don't. This is a place that I frequent usually once a week. Well, that is done. I also mentioned that I thought this was breedist and if that was the policy then have none allowed. I am not so much upset by the no dog policy as the total double standard. Anyone else been asked to leave the furniture side because of their dog? Or is it just a power trip from one individual?
