I've been taking my 8yr old son here for over 5months and it has been a wonderful experience! They are professional, the office is clean and top-notch. We have been seeing Lucy for speech, because my son was missing some sounds. She has helped him come such a long ways with such ease. They learn a lot through games and fun ideas. She's always so welcoming to him when we arrive and he really likes his sessions.

All the ladies here are amazing. Great communication. Easy to find. Lots of parking. Carla helped us out to find funding where I didnt think I would qualify for. She answered all my questions and was very informative. My son loved working with Yvette. She was silly and made him laugh. She would get on the floor and make learning fun. She had patience when he was having an off day. Very flexible with our busy schedule. Definitely recommend this place.
I can’t rate VSLC highly enough! Definitely the best services for speech and OT on the Island. Carla recruits truly incredible staff. We have been working with Caitlin and Shannon so far who are both skilled and dedicated to helping their clients. They go above and beyond to build connection with my daughter and help her feel more at ease in sessions which is no small feat! They are willing to collaborate with other professionals on our team and try different approaches to prevent her from shutting down while gently expanding her boundaries and teaching new skills.The progress and growth we have seen so far is remarkable and well worth every penny. In fact, I’ll be forever indebted to them for their support. If you are looking for speech and/or OT services, this is definitely the best place to go!
My dealings with Victoria Speech and Language Centre were always positive. Carla was able to schedule my daughter in for an assessment very soon after my first inquiry. Yvette the speech language pathologist that worked with us was very knowledgeable, professional, always prepared for our sessions and most importantly she was very engaging. Our visits felt much more like play than work and my daughter looked forward to seeing Yvette every week. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this centre to anyone.
