Beautiful scenery. Lots to see and do. Plenty of sites and shopping. Evening is amazing when the lights come on. Lots of great food and places to toast to any occasion.

A beautiful Marina in a beautiful harbour. Victoria Causeway Marina is the departure point for many boat tours. It looks very pretty both during the day and at night. I am uploading two photos.
Great little marina. We have had the pleasure of spending the past few months on this dock, which is located right in the heart of the \perfect view\. Surrounded by the famous Empress hotel and the Parliament Building, is quite a sight, particularly at night. The marina is well maintained by an exceptional staff, who are attentive to the care and presentation of the area, along side the well being of the boats. I have personally seen many of the staff members pay close attention to boats and go out of their way to retie lines, especially during recent wind storms. The surrounding area is filled with historic views, beautiful walk ways and well grooms trees, shrubs and plants. Staff do an exceptional job of keeping the area clean, I rarely have seen any form of garbage left about. The marina also offers access to laundry (3 dollars for wash, 3 dollars for drying) and washrooms with pay for showers (1 for 3 minutes). The shower rooms are ALWAYS, so clean and tidy, and well stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. The marina staff are also very engaged in community events, we were given several boxes of Christmas lights to partake in the marina lightup for a Christmas event the public was invited to. It was a fun way to add to the spirit of Christmas in the area. Prices for moorage are reasonable, and there are rates that are available for winter moorage that are very reasonable for those colder times! There is a bit of paperwork involved to get signed up for the winter terms, but well worth doing. We have enjoyed our stay here so far and look forward to the rest of the winter and perhaps to return in years to come. The staff and harbour masters are helpful and easy to communicate with, and respond timely to emails and any questions. If you are interested in spending anytime in Victoria on your boat, I highly recommend checking this spot out.
The Victoria Causeway Marina is one of a couple of smaller marinas at the Victoria Sea Harbour, which is very close to Parliament House in the center of the city. Entertainers and street vendors line the docks and vye for your attention. They peddle their ware to the large number of tourists and sell them items that they don't need, items that will end up in a garage and eventually in a garage sale. While it is hard to ignore them, keep in mind that the main attraction and the chief reason for being on the docks is to watch boats and seaplanes come in and out of the marinas.
WiFi doesn't work, even when it works the signal is fading. Walked all the way to the washrooms and facilities are closed after 10.30pm! Like what is this? Do you guys think your patrons don't have to use washrooms after 10.30pm??!
