Great little nature house with helpful informed staff/volunteers on site. There are reptiles to see and there's a pleasant walk around the lake. Christmas hill is separate but had nice views and was always quiet when I've been there.

Love going for walks in this area. All the greenery and the lake gives great views and the nature house is free to go in and learn about the surrounding area and it's birds and animals.

BIGFOOT FOREST Vancouver Island

This is one of the most beautiful albeit spooky spots in the greater Victoria area. This may be one of the access areas for the Bigfoot Sasquatch people to enter the area for the myriad of food found around the lake. Berries virtually line the upper old rail trail and if you have a keen eye you might spot large footprints on the edges of the lake near the wooden walkway to the raft viewing area. I did. Amazing.
