At first glance, St. Ann's academy could make a person feel a little uncomfortable. The breaching crucifix hanging from its highest point. The old and pointed metal fence weaving its way around the perimeter, almost challenging you to enter. But enter I did, and I was so happy to enjoy the wonderful sunshine and lovely green space. The old walls and friendly trees made it feel warm and inviting. P.S. Bring good company

Wonderful place to stroll around, play fetch with dogs, and explore. Clean grounds with wheelchair access to the main building. Parking out in the back lot is a lesser known space to get nice and close to the core of downtown.

The grounds were very nice looking and well maintained. Unfortunately with the current pandemic you could not go inside.

I discovered the Academy walking pass it while heading to the Beacon Hill park and I am so glad I decided to visit! The employee who was there was really nice. Since I'm from Quebec, it was nice to learn about Victoria's history as well as my province's history!
