I want to thank the staff for an amazing dinner and night was so enjoyable to go out for a dinner during COVID and feel so comfortable and confident the staff are doing a great job. As well the food was awesome as well.

We ordered from Sookjai for the first time yesterday, and it will be our go-to from now on. They were so friendly and helpful on the phone! And the food!!! We ordered four dishes, based on the amounts we have had from other restaurants. I swear there was twice as much packed into each container! Everything came with a sauce, but tho they were delicious, the food itself was exquisite without! Even the carrots tasted like carrots! The meat was exceptionally tender, and the spicing was perfect---just what we'd asked for (mild!) The beef fried rice.....it makes my mouth water just remembering it. And the crispy pork.....perfection! When it comes down to it, it was the fresh and beautifully blended flavours that will make this our only Thai food restaurant from now on. We can't recommend it highly enough.
This place surprised me. The Thai food so far has been the most flavorful in Victoria since kon Thai closed. Interesting flavors in regards to meat dishes. Portions are good for the price. One of the best customer service you can get for dining in. Overall, a great dining experience and I would recommend trying them out.
All time favorite and we keep going back. Red curry is best in city hands down.
We came here for a date night and definitely we weren't disappointed. All we had was a couple curries but they were really nicely done, flavorful and really fresh. The coconut rice was flavorful and obviously an amazing compliment with the currys. We had the fried banana for dessert which came with our choice of ice cream. The staff was really friendly and fast and we will definitely return
Absolutely some of the best Thai I have ever had. Saw them being mentioned on the local news just before Easter and ordered most of the recommenders dishes and then some. Wow. Pad Thai was amazing, the crispy pork was a new fish and mouth watering, soft and crispy. Spring rolls were crisp, not greasy and very tasty. Had the beef and veg with the peanut sauce and the shrimp in garlic sauce, two solid dishes. We ordered it for Easter and we were “mmmm” throughout the meal. The online app worked great, delivery was right on time with the estimated delivery time that was texted and the delivery guy was so friendly. Definitely my go-to Thai restaurant moving forward. Yum.
Jena is an all star and her energy is infectious! The food is also very flavorful and delicious. The veg pad thai was so so good!!! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu and see Jena again!
Always great food and great customer service! The delivery drivers have always been super friendly and polite, thanks everyone at sookjai! My dad says that it's the best prawn fried rice he's ever had :)
