Good easy hike, groomed trail to start, good climb up Wolf, and then pretty much a dirt/gravel road in a beautiful forest.

Clean, nice trails, parking lot too small for everyone who wants to enjoy this place though! LOL (A good problem!)

The coast trail is one of the most beautiful trails you will ever see. We hiked from end to end of East Sooke park, which took nearly 6hrs. Much of it is ok but there are some parts that are a bit sketchy. Be warned you will be doing some scrambling, even though there is really no elevation gain.

Beautiful conservation area with many trails for bikes and walking. Caution though as some areas are restricted access.

Mountain bike trails, rock climbing, streams and waterfalls. The trail along the water is easy for beginners as it is a wide gravel path. You can hike into goldstream Park from here after crossing the suspension bridge and past the waterfall. A section of the trail is closed due to a rock slide so excersize caution and take the train tracks around the bulge of loose rocks in the cable netting. Lots of animals to see and cool places to explore.
