Worst service I’ve received at a Shoppers. The staff would not leave me alone and kept watching me and talking to me about products I really did not want or care about. After 3 times of telling them that I was just browsing and did not want help they took my products up to the cash desk. Something that I find incredibly disrespectful when I am interested in buying something and deciding to buy it or not. Mind you, I had NO backpack, heavy clothing or anything that would make me appear like a shop lifter. I was dressed nicely and even had my makeup done. I have no idea why in the world they have such rude staff. I even heard a girl radio another worker telling her to watch me... it was not only embarrassing but degrading. Being a Latina woman I am mad that such a well know chain would be discriminatory to young women. This establishment seriously needs to be trained on customer service and being respectful of diverse people. It’s incredibly frustrating to shop somewhere like this and I have made sure to never return to this location. I also want to mention I spent 50 on cosmetics and the lady at the cash desk didn’t say anything to me or offer me a bag. At other locations I’ve been given samples or at the very least they have spoken to me.

I would advise NOT using this shoppers drug mart. There is a degree of incompetence taking place at this pharmacy I haven’t see to this level. There has been 6 mix ups with my prescription. Not able to get the order right, not getting the right prescription, getting the prescription details confused. And each time told to come back later, then when finally I receive my prescription, it was in this defective bottle, the lid not closed and all the pills falling out and being crushed into dust in my pocket. The deformity in the bottle must come from an injection mold not being complete. Is there more of these defects out there? 1 out of 1000? How many times does this happen? Would this lead to a class action suit against Shoppers? Will there be recalls? So I will have to return AGAIN! Is this the 7th time?
I would give zero stars for this location. Beauty Boutique service is terrible. I don’t know how they make any money, other than it’s convenient, but they certainly don’t offer you anything extra. Go to Sephora or somewhere else, if you want actual service or to be actually treated like a valued customer. If I’m going to spend money on luxury items, I expect better than this.
I received unempathetic service from a clerk over the phone. I placed an order with Joe Fresh to inquire if it could be returned to a Shoppers Drug Mart. She answered in the negative, but does SDM and Superstore realize that seniors have to take a onehour long bus ride each way? This is most unempathetic and just bad business considering you are part of the same company! I don’t shop much at SDM and likely won’t again.
Any time I stop in Victoria I go in to that store and I always get 100% good customer service.
