Excellent service today. I went in for my jewelry checkups and even though there was a lot the young gentleman at Mayfair mall in Victoria was patient, kind and did his job like the professional. I also purchased a ring a couple of weeks ago that had to be sized and it was in for me to pickup. What a great experience.

My fiancé took her 1400 engagement ring in to be sized but was met with rude, disrespectful behaviour by staff. I purchased the ring in April 2020 online where no warranty was offered. My fiancé was scolded by staff and surrounded by multiple people in store while being lectured about how the warranty was only offered I store while the store was closed for months. The process to get a small pair of earrings fixed (that broke after 2 months of owning them) is a huge hassle. No social distancing parameters in place for Covid.

My usual “go to place” is Tiffany’s which doesn’t have a location on the island. The quality of items which I have purchased at People’s is in par with Tiffany’s with regards to gold; rose, white, and gold. The vera wang Love earrings and a black diamond earring collection are tres chic. I did not delve into any diamond earrings or solitaires so I am unable to comment on the quality and the three C’s; carat, clarity, cut. The staff know what they are doing and are always attentive and professional.

I was gifted a brand new Ted Baker watch, not expensive by any means but I loved the style. Much too big for my wrist however, and I could not figure out how to remove the extra links and was stuck finding someone open to adjust it. Even with Covid and me not purchasing the watch from Peoples, I was greeted with such kindness and a very helpful salesperson. Followed covid safety guidelines impeccably and he was so genuinely kind and helpful. Had it sized perfectly within minutes. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Beautiful jewelry and very knowledgeable salespeople at this location. Fabulous selection of Canadian diamond earrings that I absolutely have to consider in the near future as well. If you need the "in store" experience, do not hesitate to visit this gem of a location.
