Munro books is an amazing bookstore. They have good covid protocols given the small space. They have friendly helpful staff and a good selection of books and other reading material. They also have puzzles and games, making a great shopping experience. They do compete against larger stores, so making sure they get the business they deserve keeps this gem open.

This bookshop has been a favourite of mine for a long time. Locally owned and has a great layout and selection. Service is always exceptional and their staff are extremely knowledgeable on just about any topics or questions I ever had. Great selection of birthday cards as well, and there is a section on local authors as well. Of there is a title you are looking for they do not have they will order it for you. I highly recommend and prefer a solid locally owned store over the corporate profits driven schemes personally. Service with a smile from people who are passionate about their craft while encouraging local economy, what's not to like...
Legendary. If you love books perhaps a book package for my kids for Christmas ?? Harry Potter series. Please like my review if it was helpful.
If you are a book lover, it's a must-visit for you. Founded by Nobel-prize winner Canadian author Alice Munro and her erstwhile husband James Munro in early 60s, the store holds the old-style book-store charm, on purpose. Situated on the Government Street, at the heart of the downtown, the place is and will continue to be perennial favorite to lose myself in my favorite bookstore.
