I went to McLaren lightning in an effort to support local, I was aware they were more expensive than home depot and other big brands, but was under the impression their customer service was excellent. I purchased 3 lights, 1 light failed withing weeks. I had to pay an installation fee, then pay to have it removed. The McLaren team offered to replace the unit (about 100), I already had to pay 150 in labor to get it installed then removed. Now I have to pay to install another one... Very disappointing service, I would advice to go to home depot or Lowe's. I always prioritize local, but given they have a higher price with the same service as the big brands I'll have to go and get the replacement in home depot :(

I needed some lightbulbs for a new space for my storefront and wanted to support a local business. I'm so glad I went to McLaren to do so. When I walked in I was suprised at how busy it was, and there was a lot of staff members assisting customers. I waited breifly at the counter before asking for some help to choose some lightbulbs and the gentleman that helped me (I wish I got his name) was very knowledgeable and thorough. He asked questions about my space to ensure the light bulbs we chose would be appropriate and helped chose something that was suitable for my budget too. Who knew I could have such a great experience buying lightbulbs. Thank you!

Friendly service. I requested for fixture light replacement under warranty, they replaced my fixture without reluctant. Smooth and quick process.
