Located in a quaint narrow alley in Canada’s oldest Chinatown- this little gem is one of the best ice cream shops I’ve ever been to. Got the key lime pie- it was soooo good. Nice and tart, but in a creamy good way. :) if you’re in Victoria you have to wander into this tiny alley and grab some ice cream with freshly made waffle cone

So we visited this famous ice cream place in Victoria, BC. The service is so amazing. They let you try flavours and the girls at the counter are the sweetest. We had there popular flavors double chocolate and salted caramel. Wow the quantity and quality is so filling. First time I had ice cream and I felt full. They have gelatin free options which is amazing for having halal desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed our ice creams. Highly recommended place to visit in Phanton Aly!!!
Had a lovely experience with a friend. The staff were happy to help us sample a number of different flavours for our ice cream flight. The store front is cool looking modern space. The ice cream is a a real treat. It's made in house. The ice cream chefs came out to chat with us and we talked ice cream flavours. I think our favourite was the black sesame flavour!
For locals and tourists! Check this gem hidden in Fan Tan Alley! Delicious ice cream with in-house baked cones! Cones itself are great! You can have vegan cones too! We really enjoyed our lemon meringue and black currant-lime ice creams! We’ll be back!
I visited six ice cream shops during my week-long trip to Victoria and Kid Sister was my favorite. (My wife's favorite was Parachute Ice Cream.) I have never had ice cream that tasted so fresh! It was obvious why - we could see people working with fresh lemons in the back. I had the Lemon Lime Meringue in one of their house-made waffle cones. The cone tasted great and held up well. My wife had Double Chocolate, also in a cone. Unfortunately, hers didn't fare so well; it was too thin, and ice cream actually started to seep through the sides (oops!). I'd definitely give them another chance and get a cone again next time. The shop is located in Fan Tan Alley, so it's easy to miss if you you're not careful. It was small, but I really liked the decorations (bicycle!) and the atmosphere. Service was excellent.
Really enjoyed their flavors today! Although the lemon meringue was good, it wasn't my favorite---a little too icy for me, but the curd had the perfect tart---what really took the cake was the caramel macchiato. I can't overemphasize the level of smoothness and creaminess it had! It melted so quickly it was so delicate! Opt for the cone and a scoop of the macchiato! You won't regret it!
Amazing! I got a “carrot cake” scoop and a “vegan coconut fudge” scoop. I had to go back a second time before the end of my trip because it was so delicious. It’s also very well priced in comparison to other gourmet small batch ice cream places I’ve been too.
This place is perfect if you are like me and want a taste of a lot of ice creams but don’t want huge scoops of each. They offer an ice cream flight. 4 mini scoops. It’s the best way to eat ice cream I think. The staff here were really friendly and welcoming. If I lived closer I’d be there often.
